The Louisiana Wildlife Federation (LWF) is happy to announce the 19 college students chosen for the 2025 Edgar Veillon Conservation Management Corps (EV-CLC). Established in 2018, this program prepares undergraduate college students from throughout Louisiana to be the longer term leaders in conservation.
Over the approaching 12 months, the cohort will participate in three in-person coaching classes that present in-depth studying, skilled networking, and direct engagement with urgent conservation points. College students will look at real-world challenges whereas constructing management and advocacy abilities by case research, collaborative actions, and mentorship. Graduates will be a part of a rising alumni community with alternatives for continued mentorship, collaboration, {and professional} growth.
