Cornwall, ON (Oct. 14, 2025) – Members of the media are invited to attend a groundbreaking ceremony for the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society’s new Cornwall & Area Animal Centre and Veterinary Clinic.

TIME: 10 a.m., rain or shine
LOCATION: 2151 Second Road West, Cornwall
Native dignitaries and Ontario SPCA representatives will collect to rejoice the official begin of building on the 8,000-square-foot facility, set to open in 2027.
The brand new Cornwall & Area Animal Centre and Veterinary Clinic will change the growing old Ontario SPCA animal centre on Boundary Street, constructed greater than 30 years in the past. The brand new facility will remodel animal care within the area by growing capability to assist extra animals, supporting households with accessible veterinary care, and serving as a hub for compassionate animal welfare.
